The international reality show Dragons’ Den has featured in Australia, the East,
Europe and the Americas and a South African version, in partnership with Telkom
Business, will play to audiences on Mzansi Magic (Dstv channel 161) in
September.
The show features entrepreneurs who go in front of a panel of established
business moguls and pitch their ideas to gain funding and mentorship for their
business. Only the best and most enticing business ideas make it past the
experts, known as the Dragons, as entrepreneurs vie for a share of the
available funds which amount to millions of rands.
SA entrepreneurs are invited to submit their business ideas for an opportunity
to access venture capital funding and business experience which could take
their creative idea or business plan to the next level.
Entrants may apply online by visiting the Mzansi Magic website, where they will need to fill out an application form in order to be considered.
