Oscars will finally be handed out on Sunday 2 March and E! Entertainment on
DStv Channel 124 will be right there to cover the highly anticipated event in one
of the most unpredictable Academy Awards races in many years.
With 20 cameras to bring fans closer to the action, E!’s on-camera team will be
led by Ryan Seacrest and Giuliana Rancic, who will cover the entire event from
the red carpet arrivals, the actual ceremony and the evening’s biggest after-parties.
Regarded as providing the most comprehensive Oscar coverage, E!’s broadcast
will be accompanied by the network’s digital, mobile and social platforms.
The broadcast starts at 03h00 (on Monday 3 March in South Africa) with the arrival of Hollywood’s biggest stars at
the Dolby Theater in Hollywood with Rancic and Dave Karger leading the team at
the E! Oscar headquarters in The Roosevelt Hotel.
