LiveU, a leader in portable live video-over-cellular solutions, has announced that the World Economic Forum has recognised the company as a Technology Pioneer 2014. Consisting of 36 companies, the winners comprise the World Economic Forum’s selection as the world’s most innovative technology start-ups.
The companies are being recognised for their potential to transform the future of business and society, with their achievement honored at the Forum’s Annual Meeting of the New Champions 2013 to be held in Dalian, People’s Republic of China, from 11 to 13 September.
A high-level selection committee consisting of top technology and innovation experts, academics and venture capitalists made the Technology Pioneer 2014 selections. Each year the World Economic Forum chooses a select number of Technology Pioneers from hundreds of possibilities.
LiveU is the inventor of cellular-bonding technology which continues to facilitate daily newsgathering operations for broadcasters, news agencies and online media worldwide.
