MTV World Stage: Snoop Lion & the Africa All Stars makes its global TV premiere on MTV (DStv Channel 130) on Friday 26 July at 23h00 CAT. The latest episode of the World Stage TV series focuses on the recent MTV Africa All Stars concert in South Africa, where Africa’s top contemporary artists participated in the concert, joined by hip hop legend turned reggae artist, Snoop Lion.
The May 2013 concert was held in Durban in KwaZulu-Natal and welcomed music giants D’Banj, Camp Mulla, Zahara, Fally Ipupa, Zakes Bantwini, 2Face, Professor, Flavour and Big Nuz to a purpose built stage in People’s Park.

Hence, bringing in many people as tourists, and domestic capital injection, will spur and stimulate our economy to grow, create jobs and ensure that the province is seen as a destination of choice for tourism and investment.’
The hour-long TV special features key performances from Snoop Lion and his African counterparts, kicking off with a solo performance Here Comes The King by Snoop Lion and ending on a high note as all the artists joined Snoop on stage for a rendition of Young, Wild & Free.
Other performances to look out for include Nuthin’ But A ‘G’ Thang (Snoop Dogg aka Snoop Lion), No Guns Allowed (Snoop Lion), Lento (Professor Ft Speedy), Party Don’t Stop (Camp Mulla Ft Collo), French Kiss (Fally Ipupa), Ihe Neme (2Face), Loliwe (Zahara), Karolina (Zakes Bantwini), Nwa Baby (Flavour), Umlilo (Big Nuz Ft DJ Tira) and Oliver Twist (D’Banj).
The MTV Africa All Stars concert was hosted jointly by MTV Base and South Africa’s KwaZulu-Natal Province, as part of its commitment to raising the international profile of KwaZulu-Natal as a premiere destination for tourism and economic development.
