Entries for the annual International Gold Panda Awards for TV Drama are open. The competition is an opportunity for TV producers and broadcasters from around the world to showcase their drama programmes in China and internationally.
The competition will showcase a wide array of TV series and is open to miniseries, made-for-television movies and series that were first broadcast anywhere in the world between 1 January 2008 and 31 July 2013. Additional prizes are available in sub-categories for Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Photography, Best Actor and Best Actress.
Entry fees to this competition do not apply. The final deadline for entries is 31 July 2013.
The competition also provides the following opportunities for promoting programmes:
- Your programme may be selected for broadcast on the CCTV TV Drama Channel and Sichuan Radio and Television’s Channel.
- CCTV TV Drama Channel and Sichuan Radio and Television’s Channel may wish to acquire nominated and winning entries for broadcast on their networks.
- A shortlist of the best entries will be screened at the 2013 SCTVF International TV Program Market. The event will be open to professionals, filmmakers and buyers attending the market.
- Entries will be recommended to domestic and overseas distributors and broadcasters present at 2013 SCTVF.
