It’s down to Candice Glover and Kree Harrison for the crown in the closest, most intense
American Idol performance finale ever which screens on Thursday 16 May at 02h00 on
M-Net Channel 101.
The winner of the 12th season of American Idol will be announced during a live two-
hour finale live on Friday 17 May at 02h00.
After the elimination of Angie Miller, Glover and Harrison are the songbirds left in a
historically close fight to the finish. The Top 2 singers now prepare for their final
showdown performance live on 16 May when America’s votes will decide who joins the
ranks of previous winners Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood and Phillip Phillips to
become the next American Idol.
Carly Rae Jepsen will perform her new song Take a Picture at the event featuring the
sing-off between Glover and Harrison.
Viewers who miss the live broadcasts, can watch the delayed feed on Saturday 18 May
at 18h00 (performances) and Sunday 19 May at 16h55 (results) on M-Net Channel 101.
