The weekly animated series DreamWorks Dragons: Riders of Berk, follows the continuing adventures of the characters introduced to viewers by the hugely popular movie, How to Train Your Dragon. Hiccup and his dragon Toothless on the Viking island of Berk feature, along with the band of dragon trainers, all of whom now have dragons of their own.
Through their training, the kids develop special bonds with their dragons by learning about each dragon’s unique powers, discovering entirely new species and battling against new villains as they explore whole new worlds they never dreamed existed.
How to Train Your Dragon grossed approximately $500 million worldwide and opened as the #1 film in more than 30 countries. It serves as the launching pad for the third episodic television series from DreamWorks Animation SKG, Inc. and its first on Cartoon Network.

DreamWorks Dragons: Riders of Berk features an all-star line-up of voice talent, including Jay Baruchel (Hiccup), America Ferrera (Astrid), Christopher Mintz-Plasse (Fishlegs) and T.J. Miller (Tuffnut), all of whom are original cast members from the feature film.
The show premieres on Tuesday 5 March 2013 at 17h25 on Cartoon Network. The series airs every Tuesday at 17h25 with repeats on Wednesdays at 07h00 and the following Monday at 07h00 and 17h25. Repeats will also show on Saturdays and Sundays at 10h00 and 14h35.

DreamWorks Animation’s much-anticipated sequel to How to Train Your Dragon is scheduled for release in US theatres on June 20, 2014.
