True Life, an Emmy Award-winning documentary, chronicles and finds out what makes real people tick. MTV first introduced True Life in 1998 as a means to give insight into the ordinary and extraordinary lives and experiences of real people.
In more than 200 episodes since the series began, True Life has investigated over 140 subjects ranging from drug use, body image and relationships to sexuality, surrogacy and politics.
Three upcoming episodes of True Life focus on young people who are struggling to come to terms with different aspects of their lives.
