Miracle Rising: South Africa, a documentary that marks the 23rd anniversary of Madiba’s release from prison and recounts untold stories of the four years from the release of Mandela in 1990 to the elections in 1994 is screening on History on DStv until 25 February 2013.
The documentary was produced by Combined Artists and sponsored by global ICT company Dimension Data and “reveals to the world the crucial decisions, small conversations, tragic ironies and audacious leaps of faith combined to make the almost vision of a democratic election a reality’.
Miracle Rising: South Africa introduces the unsung heroes and reveals previously untold stories that quietly shaped the course of our history. The stories are recounted through the personal interpretations of key local and international figures. Viewers hear the personal and intimate anecdotes on the subject from various world leaders, politicians, celebrities and journalists.
