After spending the last seven years in Hollywood focusing on developing feature films and improving his knowledge of the industry, Egg Films is happy to announce that Sunu Gonera is back in South Africa.
During his time in Hollywood, Gonera directed Lionsgate’s award-winning feature film, Pride, starring Terrence Howard and Bernie Mac.
He is expecting to direct his second movie, Riding with Sugar, in South Africa later this year.
Gonera is based in Cape Town and is ready to direct commercials again. The Vuka award winner has directed ads for MTN, Nike and Lucky Star, among other projects.
