The Expresso Morning Show, which recently celebrated two years on SABC3, has announced numerous changes moving into the new season.
With the shows’ new contract going forward, Expresso is increasing its Johannesburg regional content so it will be building a presenter base in Johannesburg in order to do this effectively.
Liezel van der Westhuizen will still be part of the team in 2013, however, she will be appearing on the show on an ad hoc capacity while taking the year off to concentrate on completing her PhD in Communication Management.
“I’m sad to not be on the live show each morning and seeing my Expresso family daily, it’s been an amazing journey and I’ve grown in many aspects, not only as a presenter but as a person as well. It’s wonderful to be part of such a successful breakfast show. I look forward to waking up and watching the show from home,’ says Van der Westhuizen.
Kia Johnson has also moved on to freelance as a traffic reporter nationwide for various TV channels and radio stations.
Expresso presenters Katlego Maboe, Ewan Strydom, Leigh-Ann Williams and Graeme Richards make a powerful and energetic team and are excited to continue to spread their feel good vibes every weekday morning from 6h00 to 8h30.
