Season seven of popular Emmy Award-nominated US sitcom Two and a Half Men will start on SABC3 on Thursday 11 October at 21h30.
The series originally focused on brothers Alan (Jon Cryer) and Charlie (Charlie Sheen). Alan, separated from his wife, is forced to move in, with his child, to Charlie’s house. Charlie is a well-to-do bachelor with an easy way with women. His sex-filled casual Malibu lifestyle is hampered by Alan, and his son Jake (Angus T. Jones).
Complicating matters further are Charlie and Alan’s narcissistic, emotionally toxic mother, Evelyn; Alan’s deeply neurotic ex-wife, Judith; and Charlie’s domineering, unapologetically blue-collar housekeeper, Berta. Despite the complexities of their lives and their own strained relationship, Charlie and Alan have one thing in common – they both love Jake and want what’s best for him. As a result, they manage to create a little family unit that promises to make each of them a better man.
The show was created by Chuck Lorre (The Big Bang Theory) and Lee Aronsohn (Grace under Fire). It is produced by Chuck Lorre Productions and The Tannenbaum Company in association with Warner Bros. Television.
