Leading developer of intelligent display systems IDS Products will launch the IDS Content Manager, a web browser-based application that enables the user to ingest, control and distribute content, at this week’s IBC2012 at Amsterdam RAI.
Content can include video, stills, URLs, texts and numerical values and can be displayed anywhere on an IDS network.
Originally designed to meet the needs of a major UK radio station, Content Manager is the latest enhancement to the IDS display and control system, providing a range of functions including the provision of a user interface for entering and distributing dynamic text messaging, video clips or still images to specific IDS screens within a facility’s studios or production areas; ingest and distribution of video clips or stills to designated IDS displays; and managing the appearance and functionality of “soft’ switches on IDS touchscreens. The application also offers multiple login password protection with assignable access rights.
