Lucky Bean Media’s new structure

At a function held in Greenside, Johannesburg on 16 August production company Lucky Bean Media announced its new structure and welcomed aboard well-known radio and television personality Unathi Msengana as a partner and creative producer.

This heralds a new era for the creative workforce of the company as Msengana joins acclaimed reality producer and founder Donald Clarke and award-winning short form creative producer Chris Green.

Lucky Bean Media has seen an incredible year of growth, including the co-production of the M-Net smash hit MasterChef South Africa, as well as high profile campaign work for clients such as SABC2, Absa and Vodacom.

Msengana has twice been named among South Africa’s Top Ten people in Media by The Star newspaper.

She said: “Television is what I studied and it’s my first love. For a long time I have wanted to be a part of that world behind the camera. With their track record of high production value and a command of storytelling, Lucky Bean Media was the perfect home for me and my creative ideas.’

Clarke added: “Unathi has proven herself time and again as a valuable creative talent. We are excited and honoured to welcome her as part of the Lucky Bean Media team.’
