Top Billing and SABC3 have announced the return of My Top Billing Dream Presenter Search to find a new presenter for the glamorous lifestyle magazine show, with auditions countrywide in May and June.
Auditions will take place in Bloemfontein, Durban, Port Elizabeth, Polokwane, Cape Town and Johannesburg. Call-backs will determine the final 100 and from there ten contestants will be chosen to take part in the My Top Billing Dream Presenter Search from July to August.
All the hope, glory, madness and genius of Top Billing’s next generation will be broadcast during three Saturday specials, each of two hours on 16, 23 and 30 June.
Following these Saturday highlights, through June and July, six of the show’s prime-time Tuesday slots will be devoted to the drama, the thrills and comedy of the finalists running the gauntlet. Top Billing’s presenters will show contestants that experience is the best and only teacher. With guest comedians playing good cop, bad cop, judge and jury, the top contenders will get their style on, get smart, get physical, horizontal, vertical and try never to get hysterical.
The shows will test the 10 finalists with all the challenges the Top Billing presenters face on set to bring you the best in lifestyle television. Tuesday 7 August will see the show go live with the last three finalists competing for the coveted top spot. There can be only one winner to join Janez, Jo-Ann, Sinazo, Jeannie D, Aidan, Lorna and Simba and be the next to live their own Top Billing dream, for real, only on SABC3.
Interested individuals can enter online or at the audition venues on the day, but must take a copy of their application forms, a signed copy of the Terms & Conditions, a recent photograph of themselves and a copy of their IDs.
