The Writers Guild of South Africa (WGSA) will hold a workshop on new media on 3 March at UJ IntelliLab – UJ Auckland Park Campus, Johannesburg. Hamish Pillay will present a full day workshop on the following topics: starting a website, making some material free to drive traffic, creating a presence, setting up a fan page and engagement using social media.
Spaces are limited to 15 people so bookings are essential. Contact: admin@writersguildsa.org to reserve your place. Merely indicating that you will attend on Facebook is not a reservation.
Due to the limited spaces, students may only attend as observers.
The workshop will be R150 for members and R300 for non-members. All LAMP and SASFED affiliates enter at membership rates.
Participants are asked to bring their laptops and an open mind.
