Lebone Maema, channel head of South African local content pay-TV channel Mzansi Magic, has issued the following statement regarding the passing away of talented young actor, Muzi “Clive’ Ngwenya.
The statement reads: “We would like to express our deepest condolences to Muzi’s mother, the rest of his family, his friends and the many colleagues who have been touched by his beautiful personality and contribution to the industry.
“Mzansi Magic recently identified Muzi as one of the faces of the channel for 2012. He was contracted to start working on a key, yet-to-be-announced Mzansi Magic production later this month.
“To celebrate his life and bid farewell to this remarkable young star, Mzansi Magic will screen one of his projects, the bubblegum movie Second Chances, in the next week (date and time to be confirmed).’
