IBE Weekly eNews reports that the first Global Broadcast Summit will take place on 15 and 16 May 2012 in London.
Only chief executives of the world’s leading broadcasters will be invited to attend, as well as regulators and government officials. Delegates will discuss the global broadcast industry from a strategic, economic, technological and regulatory perspective.
The Summit will also look at television and its changing role in society, in both the public and private broadcasting arenas.
An important part of the event is a worldwide survey – a strategy paper will be prepared by each participating CEO – so that the global industry will have substantial data about itself.
