In an exciting move, published author, businesswoman and renowned Metro FM presenter Thami Ngubeni has joined One Gospel to host The Scarlet Lounge, a brand new show aimed at women and the daily challenges they face. The Scarlet Lounge premieres on 27 June at 9pm on DStv channel 331.
Speaking about the show Ngubeni commented, “I’m beyond excited about sharing this platform with other women and having fun, while we’re at it. Life is as it is, but how we choose to experience the journey is entirely up to us.’
Ngubeni is no stranger to the industry having started her career at an early age when she joined Radio Metro as a newsreader. At 21, she left South Africa for Los Angeles to further her skills. While in the US Ngubeni hosted a music show on The American Radio Network (ARN) as she completed her studies in Film and Television at the University of California in Los Angeles, after which she returned to South Africa and started her career as a TV producer. Nugbeni hosts a weekly spirituality show on Metro FM on Sundays from 6am to 9am and also writes a popular monthly column for Destiny magazine.
