There will be four South African shows on The Home Channel, found on DStv channel 182, during June and July. As from 14 June, The Home Channel’s new talk show – Talking Property – will give viewers all the information they need to make the best property investments and choices at every stage This ranges from buying your first home, deciding where to buy a holiday flat, to demystifying the deeds office and helping you tackle your noisy neighbour.

Sheer Design, which starts airing on 13 June, is a new home make-over show that follows interior designer, Candace Woodward, when she becomes her own client and re-vamps her home using glass. Full of inspiration, ideas and practical advice, Sheer Design finds innovative and do-it-yourself ways of using glass and its unique safety and design features to make the most of natural light, modern aesthetics and innovative decor in an everyday townhouse.
In My Kitchen starts on 6 July. Sasha Zambetti invites chefs to come back home and share some of their favourite recipes and tips for family meals. Zambetti is the editor of Avocado, South Africa’s premier food magazine, and she has drawn on her years of experience and contacts to invite just the right chefs into her kitchen to combine cooking expertise with practical know-how to help you make any family meal a favourite.
Everyone’s favourite gardener, Tanya Visser, returns to The Home Channel in mid-July for a new winter season of The Gardener. This season, Visser visits gardens around country to pick up a host of practical ideas and tips to guide viewers to get the same results in their own gardens. She also visits the finalists in the PCC Creative Cement viewers’ competition of last season to see some of the fun and creative projects The Home Channel viewers came up with.
