Ashton Kutcher is reportedly very close to finalising a deal to replace Charlie Sheen as the star of Two and a Half Men, the most popular comedy on television. According to The Hollywood Reporter two sources close to the deal have confirmed it, although it hasn’t officially been announced by the studio, the network or the actor.
The deal apparently came together after Hugh Grant turned down the opportunity to join the show. Sources say Men creator Chuck Lorre has already created a storyline to introduce Kutcher to the show in a “very funny’ way.
Sheen was fired from the show in early March after a very public conflict with the show’s creator.
