PRO is the first South African artist to take the spotlight on Channel O’s highly-anticipated O-Sessions.
The emcee’s O-Sessions appearance is on Thursday 5 May at 7pm with repeats throughout the month. In celebration of PRO’s career so far Channel O will also broadcast a 30 minute video wall titled Featuring PRO on Thursday 12 May at 1pm. The 30 minute special will feature all the hip hop star’s hits so far.
Joining PRO in the live O-Sessions experience is singer Sisi as well as Soweto’s Finest, a dance crew from PRO’s home town – where he first gained the skills that saw him turn professional in 2005.
The artist is expected to display the ‘great raps, cool performances and easy interaction with fans’ that he is known for.
Among the tracks that PRO is set to perform are “Van Tuka”, a track about his life as a rapper, and “Uthini Ngo Pro” which takes the artist back to his youth. Fans can also look out for other chart-toppers like “General”, “Goliwood” and “Sekele”.
