The eagerly anticipated documentary, Obama’s White House,  will premiere at Origins Centre in Johannesburg on 27 February. The screening has been organised by the National Geographic Channel and Origins Centre.

The film will be introduced by His Excellency Donald H Gips, United States Ambassador to South Africa.

This film is the work of President Obama’s official photographer, Pete Souza, whose camera  provides an intimate and exclusive view of the man who has become an icon for many people around the world.

Souza as Obama’s official was given unprecedented access to the President as he goes about his work in the White House and beyond.

From official state engagements to light-hearted family moments, the film features a series of Souza’s best shots and captures the unique relationship he shares with the President – a relationship which allows him to shoot Obama off-guard.
