Now that The History Channel has declined to broadcast the controversial mini-series, The Kennedys, Broadcasting & Cable reports that satellite service DirecTV may pick up the series.
In the meantime Showtime has also decided, like The History Channel, that The Kennedys is not a good fit for its schedule.
Should DirecTV rescue The Kennedys, it will join the service’s other rescue jobs – Friday Night Lights and Damages. Both series were picked up by DirecTV when they were passed over for renewal by other networks.
