Stephan Kappel has been appointed as the new head of customer support and professional services for Harris Broadcast Communications’ Africa (EA) operation. He will also operate as head in Europe. As part of his new mandate, Kappel will be bring a particular focus on customer satisfaction and a wider goal of strengthening the existing professional services organization across the recently formed EA business region.
Splitting his time between the Munich office and the Harris U.K. headquarters, Kappel will report to Mathias Eckert, VP of sales and services for the Europe and Africa region. Kappel boasts extensive experience in the professional services and information technology (IT) arena. He joins Harris from Avid, where he was responsible for developing professional services and customer-focused activities across a large number of countries.
