The winners of the 2010 Promax BDA Africa awards, which celebrate on-air marketing, promotion and design, were announced on 15 October at Johannesburg’s Sandton Convention Centre.
Among the big winners were Studio Zoo with nine Gold awards and Clearwater with seven Golds.
BBDO Network Cape Town in conjunction with Gloo Design and Wicked Pixels picked up five awards for their work on the TopTV campaign.
Thackwell and Whittaker scored three Golds, Orijin won two Gold awards, one of which was for the most outstanding promo of the year for M-Net Cares Literacy. Two Golds were awarded to Red Pepper.
