According to research of UK broadcasters and independent production companies conducted by Skillset, the number of women employees in the TV sector have diminished by 20% over the last three years.
There are now 5,000 fewer women TV employees compared to three years ago and just 300 fewer men. Skillset is unable to give reasons for the sharp drop.
