World Wide Entertainment, one of Australia’s largest producers and distributors of television programming for the international market, has launched a one hour unauthorised biography on the iconic Nelson Mandela, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of his release from prison.

South Africa’s first ever black president and the first in the post-apartheid era, Mandela was imprisoned for 27 years for his anti-apartheid struggle. The 11th of February 2010 is the 20th anniversary of his release.

“If there is a story to be told that inspires the world, it is Nelson Mandela’s. His is a life worth living,’ says World Wide Entertainment Creative Director Marilyn Higgins.

One Man: An Unauthorized biography on Nelson Mandela follows Mandela’s journey from youth to his involvement in the African National Congress, his imprisonment, and his later work as a respected statesman and Nobel Laureate.
