Picture Tree director Alan Irvin was recognised for directing excellence at this year’s Pendoring awards by winning the only two Golds awarded for TV.
Alan, together with the Draft FCB team were responsible for crafting the Player 23 success stories for Vodacom, first through ‘Jan’ and then with the ‘Jan and Elton’ follow up. The tally of awards included:
- 2 x Golds for TV / cinema – ‘Jan’ and ‘Jan and Elton’
- 2 x Gold Truly South African Television Awards – ‘Jan’ and ‘Jan and Elton’
- Gold Mixed Media Campaign (Above-the-line) for ‘Jan and Elton’
- Prestige Award for ‘Jan’
- Robbie Wessels won best performing artist in both spots.
