The African Motion Picture Company (AMPC) has won top honours at the annual SA Publication Forum Awards. AMPC was awarded Best Corporate DVD Production of the Year. This is the fourth year the company has scooped this award and shows no signs of slowing down.

The winning production was "Childline" which promoted child and teacher awareness of child abuse. The child video illustrated to children how to recognize several forms of abuse, from sexual, physical and verbal using the medium of a cartoon story. The teacher video helped educators recognize the signs of abuse and what to look out for with kids where abuse might or could be happening. This video has now been distributed to all pre-schools though out Gauteng.
SA Publication Forum is an organization committed to improving and promoting corporate publications and other corporate communication tools.
SA Publication Forum started its awards competition in 2002 and had 54 entries. Now, eight years on, it has 120 entrants. The entries received range from government projects to corporate’s, from one man shows to global agencies.
