New TV series teams up with Twitter


The online micro-blogging service Twitter is collaborating with US-based Reveille and Brillstein Entertainment Partners to produce the first global TV series to use the social network to guide the action of the show.

The unscripted series will connect people with celebrities in a competition format. The concept was developed by Brillstein’s Amy Ephron. The series will be executive produced by Reveille’s managing directors, Mark Koops and Howard T. Owens; Brillstein Entertainment Partners’ CEO, Jon Liebman; and Lee Kernis, Amy Ephron, Kevin J. Foxe and Steven Latham. ShineReveille International will be responsible for distribution.
