The festival is the brainchild of the brainchild of Whitby composer and filmmaker Nigel Ward. It has emerged as a direct consequence of his unique approach to making two full-blown feature-length movies in Whitby, produced in Dolby Digital™ 5.1 Surround Sound, with no grants, no funding and zero-budget.
