The Afrikaans-language South African comedy, Vaatjie Sien Sy Gat, has passed the R2m mark at the local box office, after five weeks of release.
Top earner for the weekend 30 January to 1 February was the new Adam Sandler release, Bedtime Stories, which made R1.1m. In second spot was the Kate Hudson/ Anne Hathaway comedy, Bride Wars, followed by Tom Cruise’s Nazi intrigue drama Valkkyrie, Transporter 3 and Yes Man. (Figures supplied by SAFACT)
