DIFF will present over 200 screenings of films from around the world, with a special focus on films from South African and Africa. The festival also includes an extensive seminar and workshop programme featuring local and international filmmakers. 2009 will see the return of the very successful Talent Campus Durban.
There is a competition component in the festival. The deadline for entries is 31 March 2009 for short films and documentaries; 15 April 2009 for feature films. Early submissions are encouraged.
