The new South African films Hansie and Jerusalema may not be in the local Combined Top 10 box offices figures anymore but they have both performed extremely well. As at 30 October, Hansie had made R3.977,373 and Jerusalema R3.832,025. Both films are still in release.
In top spot for the week ended 30 October was the Mark Wahlberg action film, Max Payne, following by Mama Mia, still at number two after nine massive weeks of release. In third spot is the Shia LaBouef / Billy Bob Thornton thriller Eagle Eye, followed by the Kate Hudson comedy My Best Friend’s Girl and Lakeview Terrace, a drama starring Samuel L Jackson.
