Over 20 films including Lawrence of Arabia, Ben Hur and 2001: A Space Odyssey, will be screened in the Retrospective section of the Berline International Film Festival (Berlinale) in a tribute to films that were originally shot on 70mm or 65mm.
Other films in the Retrospective include West Side Story, The Sound of Music, Cleopatra, Hello Holly! and the seven-hour Russian epic from the Soviet Union, War and Peace. The films will be screened at the Kino International which is equipped with 70mm projectors.
Berlinale runs from 5 to 15 February.
