More than 14 cinematic wonders will be screened at the Architect Africa Film Festival which runs at Cinema Nouveau screened by Fish Eagle sites in Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town during October.
Among the films to be shown are: My Architect: A Son’s Journey; 11th Hour; Blue Vinyl; Architecture To Zucchini; Raising Valhalla; The Edge Of The Possible; Building Heaven; Remembering Earth: Confessions Of A Fallen Architect; Belly Of An Architect; Sketches Of Frank Gehry; Living On The Landing; Asmara Eritrea; The Ger On The Roof; Kochuu: Japanese Architecture, Influence And Origin; Great Expectations; IM Pei – First Person Singular; IM Pei – The Museum On The Mountain; Philip Johnson: Diary Of An Eccentric Architect; Next Industrial Revolution; The Story Of Stuff; The Rhine: From Lobith To The Sea.
The festival runs in Johannesburg from 3 to 9 October at The Mall, Rosebank; in Durban from 10 to 16 October at the Gateway Shopping Centre; and in Cape Town from 17 to 23 October at Cavendish Square.
In addition to the above sites, the festival will extend its reach to other Ster-Kinekor sites when it opens in Mimosa Mall, Bloemfontein from 11 to12 October and The Bridge, Johannesburg from 18 to19 October.
