Well, at least that’s one problem South Africa’s troubled public broadcaster, the SABC, doesn’t have, being plagued by possible radioactive contamination. The Australian Broadcasting Corporation is, however. A year and a half ago it had to abandon its headquarters in Queensland because of an unusual number of breast cancer cases among its staff.
Without headquarters since that time, the broadcaster has now had to scrap its plans to build a new headquarters in Newstead, after the discovery of elevated levels of radiation at this site. (Source: Studio Briefing)
