Studio Briefing reports that Disney expects to earn $1bn during 2008 from its digital businesses, which range from cell phones to video games to movie downloads to websites. Disney CEO Bob Iger is quoted as saying that in the future, broadband on the computer will be the primary source of entertainment for kids.

Meanwhile, Google-owned video sharing website YouTube will soon be available for viewing on TV sets cconnected to TiVo digital recorders. Yet another step forward in the move to converge the TV and the PC.
