David Webb who is based at Kodak’s Hemel Hempstead offices has been appointed Southern African Director and General Manager of Entertainment Imaging. This position was formerly held by Brian Kercher who has assumed the position of European General Manager for Digital Cinema.
Web first visited South Africa in October 2006 and is again in the country with the purpose if visiting Kodak resellers, film laboratories, the National Film and Video Foundation (NFVF) and the SABC. He is accompanied by Cape Town based Mandy Campbell-Miller customer support manager for Kodak Entertainment Imaging.
Webb has been with Kodak for 10 years, and is a great supporter of students and emerging filmmakers. “My intention is the raise the awareness of Kodak in South Africa through a series of regular visits enabling me to get closer to the re-sellers, DOPs and colleges. Kodak will be holding various seminars and industry get togethers this year, the first of which was in Cape Town earlier this week’.
