Entries for the eleven Award categories of the 2007 International Emmy® Awards are now open for submission online at http://www.iemmys.tv/entry.html . The deadline is 12 March 2007.
Presented by The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, the International Emmy® Award was created in 1969 to recognize excellence in television programming produced outside of the United States.
To be eligible for submission, entries must have been produced and broadcast for the first time outside of the United States between the dates of 1 April 2006 and 28 February 2007. Entries can be submitted in the following categories:
For News: News and Current Affairs
For Performance: Best Performance by an Actress and Best Performance by an Actor
For Programs: Arts Programming; Children & Young People; Comedy; Documentary; Drama Series; Non-Scripted Entertainment and TV Movie/Mini-Series.

The 35th International Emmy® Awards Gala will take place on Monday, 19 November 2007 in New York City. This star-studded event is preceded by the 2007 International Emmy® World Television Festival which screens the International Emmy®-nominated programs and features the producers and directors speaking about their work.
