Sandra Prinsloo, one of South Africa’s most acclaimed and enduring stage, film and television actresses will debut her new 13-part Afrikaans-language talk show, RaakPraat met Sandra, on SABC2 from Saturday, 20 January in the 6.30pm timeslot.
Media were invited to attend the first day’s filming of the show, which took place at Foxwood Studios in Killarney Johannesburg with special guest, entertainer Steve Hofmeyr. The first episode of the series, featuring Noot vir Noot’s Johan Stemmet, had been recorded earlier in the day.
The show is produced by both Prinsloo and Jan Groenewald, who also directs. Each week Prinsloo will have an in-depth chat to a “landmark’ celebrity, either established or newcomer, in the half-hour show.
