Nigerian director Akin Omotoso’s films are set to air on UK broadcast television for the first time this November – on YANGA! TV.
Omotoso’s award winning features Man on Ground & Tell Me Sweet Something this November.

Akin Omotoso was born in Ibadan, Nigeria, and studied drama at the University of Cape Town. While acting in several films including Blood Diamond and Shake Hands with the Devil, Omotoso distinguished himself as a director with a series of short films, including Jesus and the Giant and his first feature film God is African. He has also directed the series Jacob’s Cross & Fifty on Africa Magic and M-Net, along with further critically acclaimed films Tell Me Sweet Something, Man On Ground, A Hotel Called Memory and the world renowned VAYA which was acquired by Ava Duvernay’s film collective ARRAY Releases and is now on Netflix.
