Festival Scope Pro, an online platform dedicated to film professionals, festivals and film producers, will present a selection of films from the 37th Durban International Film Festival (DIFF).
The partnership avails a selection of South African and African feature films online, exclusively to film professionals. The online collection will include a selection from the 50 African films – including 24 South African films – to be screened as part of the 2016 DIFF programme.
The festival is dedicated to presenting key African titles such as Leyla Bouzid’s As I Open My Eyes and Jean-Pierre Bekolo’s Naked Reality.
The partnership between DIFF and Festival Scope Pro aims to bring a greater visibility – and potentially a wider distribution – to the African film industry. Each film will be made available after its initial screening, bringing them from Durban, South Africa, straight to film professionals’ screens globally.
