The Restless Pitch is a live event where volunteer filmmakers get selected
at random to pitch their best idea for a film or television project in under three
minutes to a panel of industry professionals. Joining host and Restless Global CEO
Marie Lora-Mungai on the panel are: Cecile Gerardin, head of Drama for Canal+
Overseas; Linda Githinge, channel manager in charge of Commissioning and
Acquisitions at Zuku; Margate Mathore, head of Content Acquisition for M-Net East
Africa; Alain Modot, CEO of distribution company DIFFA; and director Tosh Gitonga.
The winner of The Restless Pitch will receive a one-hour coaching session with
Restless Talent Management, and the opportunity to get his or her project noticed
by the broadcasters and distributors on the panel.
Interested filmmakers should register as delegates on the Kalasha International Film & TV Festival &
Market to be able to attend and participate in The Restless Pitch.
