Each year local and international filmmakers, organisations and industry bodies converge at the Durban FilmMart to take advantage of its ample networking opportunities and informative workshops. Since its 2015 opening on 17 July the corridors of the Elangeni Hotel have buzzed with activity generated by participants – from producers to policy makers – whether it be deals which are coming to fruition, collaborations which are being forged or just likeminded people talking about what they love most – making movies. Here are some of the delegates from day three of the market:

Writer and director for Old Location Films Pervi John Katjavivi with Andreas Andjene, senior media officer Namibia Film Commission

NFVF stakeholder manager Lala Tuku with NFVF head of production and development, Vuyo Sekupa

Writer and director Angelina Dimingo with writer and script editor Ben Johnson

Phila Mbombo, Deli Malinga, Simphiwekahle Mthethwa, Khulile Mtungwa

Matthys Boschoff, Linda Mashishi, Motaung Matthews Koalane, Nelisa Ngcobo
