Bruno Bossi from Egg Films recently filmed a moving spot for The Road Accident Fund from Net#work BBDO called Night Shift.
The layered spot, telling the true story of a woman who was orphaned in a road accident that killed both her parents, is intimately narrated in the first person.
Thinking she had lost everything, including the dream of who she wanted to be, The Road Accident Fund gives her a new life.
Shot in the late evening and at night, DOP Paul Gilpin created a cinematic tone with his use of streetlights, night-time street scenes and dimly lit interiors.
Kobus Loots from Upstairs Post Production in Cape Town edited Night Shift, while Say Thank You Sound Design, also based in Cape Town, handled the subtle score.
