South African free-to-air commercial broadcaster, e.tv, is one of three major broadcasters around the world to have selected equipment from Vinten Radamec, part of Vitec Videocom, a Vitec Group brand, to supplement their existing set-ups with the latest innovative robotic solutions.
Providing programming for more than 80% of South Africa’s population, e.tv selected three of Vinten Radamec’s FH-145 heads for its studios. The new ICE technology ensured seamless integration into the broadcaster’s existing installations, and the mechanical design, control and processing technology will provide the operators with the fastest and the slowest smooth movement possible, as well as the widest pan and tilt range.
TV2 in Norway has enhanced its robotic capability by integrating two of Vinten Radamec’s HDVRC control systems with its existing studio equipment. The HDRVC is an easy to use and easy to configure control solution that provides multi-user, multi-facility control of pedestals, heads and elevation units.
An Australian broadcaster (name undisclosed), which specialises in screening the nation’s biggest sporting events, selected a Vinten Radamec FP188 pedestal, and three pan and tilt heads for its studios. The order included two of Vinten Radamec’s latest FH-145 heads incorporating the company’s forward thinking ICE technology, which delivers unprecedented control and accuracy in an innovative and highly compact form.
