Lesbian love story wins Palme d’Or

Blue is the Warmest Colour (La Vie d’Adele – Chapitere 1 & 2) from France won the
Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival 2013 on 26 May.

The three-hour long film, directed by Tunisian-born French director Abdellatif
Kechiche, won the coveted prize at the French film festival which drew to a close this
weekend.
