New York Film Academy (NYFA) is auditioning students for The New York Film
Academy Programmes in Acting for Film and Musical Theatre. NYFA private auditions
and information sessions will be held in Johannesburg and Cape Town in South Africa.

For Acting Audition
Prepare two 60 – 90 second contemporary and contrasting monologues from a
published legitimate source (play, TV or film script). Please choose material with your
current age range.
For Musical Theatre
Prepare two contrasting songs from a published musical, and one contemporary
monologue from a published legitimate source (play, TV or film script).
The NYFA will also meet potential students for all other programmes, including
filmmaking, photography, producing, screenwriting, cinematography, documentary
filmmaking, broadcast journalism, 3D animation and video game design during the
information sessions.
